Lamps
In printing machines, lamps play a critical role in ensuring accurate, high-quality results and stable production. These lamps are used inside the press for several purposes, such as drying, curing, and inspecting printed materials. UV lamps, for example, are essential in UV printing systems—they cure UV inks instantly, improving speed and preventing smudging. Infrared (IR) lamps are widely used for drying water-based or solvent inks by gently heating the paper and evaporating moisture. Some printing units also include internal inspection lamps that help operators clearly view colors, dot structure, and registration during printing. By providing the proper light intensity and wavelength, printing lamps help maintain consistent print quality, reduce downtime, and ensure that ink sets correctly on different substrates.
